Questions
What if I forget my Hordva password?
Any of your devices that still opens with Face ID or Touch ID can set a new one. If none can, your data can’t be recovered, by you or by us. That’s the cost of no one else holding a key.
Can you see what I store?
No. Hordva has no servers. Your data is encrypted before it reaches your iCloud, and we have no way to reach it there.
Does scanning send my card anywhere?
No. Text is read on your iPhone, iPad or Mac using Apple’s built-in tools. Nothing is uploaded to read it.
What if I lose my phone?
Hordva stays locked behind Face ID and your password. Sign in to a new device with your Apple ID, enter your Hordva password, and everything syncs back.
Why does Plus cost anything?
Only to support the developer’s time on updates: new features, fixes, and keeping up with each new iOS and macOS. US$4.99 a year or US$30 once covers that. There are no ads and your data is never sold, because we never have it.
What happens if I stop paying?
Nothing is taken away. Hordva becomes read-only: you can still open, search, copy, use Show mode and Lost wallet, export and delete. Adding and editing come back the moment you choose a plan.
Can I fill a form in Safari directly?
Tap a field to copy it, or drag it into the form on iPad and Mac. Copied values clear from the clipboard on their own.
